Gift Ideas for Your Favorite Guy

Gift Ideas for Your Favorite Guy

Let's face it, men aren't always the easiest to shop for, so if you're one of those poor helpless souls aimlessly scanning the Internet looking for inspiration to find a gift for your favorite guy, then you’re in luck because you've come to the right place!

When people think about gifts for men they don’t always go straight to jewelry, but in a world saturated with the latest tool or tech-gadget, it might be nice to change it up a little.

Not surprisingly, there are a whole host of options available, and we have them in stock and ready to go for this holiday season. You’ll find unique gifts that will step up someone’s fashion game with all kinds of options, such as bracelets, chains, right-hand rings, watches and more.

This year we rolled out a new line to our store of men’s fashion jewelry made of stainless steel with styles ranging from classic, to contemporary, edgy and urban. It will give any guy a fashion-forward edge without being over-the-top. The new line is called Inox.

Inox’s jewelry are all made from alternative metals such as stainless steel, titanium, tungsten carbide, and more. The benefits of stainless steel versus precious metals, such as gold, is that the line is more affordable, durable, and hypoallergenic. Leather elements are also incorporated, such as in the bracelet pictured below.

Inox Leather Bracelet

Beyond the leather bracelet, we have different options with different colors and looks. I really like this bracelet with red sandal wood links.

There are also other options to consider, too. You can capture attention with any of these steel bracelets, with one that even looks like a bicycle (or motorcycle) chain.

A right-hand ring is always a good bet, or maybe a tie-clip for the very fashionable among us. With right-hand rings the sky is the limit. We have options in stainless steel, silver, gold and platinum.

Another great men’s line that we carry is called Zancan. It’s straight from Italy and exudes the cool European vibe. They have some other great bracelets, some with anchors and some with a compass rose. Check out this super-cool right hand ring

There’s even a USB Keychain with a compass rose.

Then, of course, there is always the guy’s drool-worthy go-to – a new watch! I must admit, I own maybe a little more than a few of them and my wife may or may not be upset every time I find a new one I fall in love with.

My favorite watch of this season is the Tissot T-Touch Connect Solar Watch. It’s a connected watch that looks like – wait for it – an actual watch! It has a Swiss-made movement, activity tracking, message notifications, and is built to be lightweight and rugged. It charges itself with solar power so, even when connected, you only have to charge it every six months! I wrote a whole blog post about it if you want the gory details – check that out with this link.

The other one that I love is a 70’s throwback. Yes, I own this one too. Really, it’s not a problem – I can stop any time!

Tissot PRX Quartz

I love this watch. It has a slim profile, and the metal bracelet on it is super comfortable and has a quick-release clasp, so it comes on and off easy. This watch looks great with a casual outfit and dresses up even better. Whether your soon-to-be-gifted guy is out with friends or at a business meeting this watch will be perfect for him.

And then there’s the Seastar from Tissot. Um, you guessed it, I have this one too. Specifically, this one pictured below.

Seastar 1000 Chronograph

This one is a Seastar 1000 and is a great value for the money. It is water-resistant to approximately 330 feet – which is way deeper than I ever plan on going! It’s a quartz movement, which means it runs on battery and has a reasonably priced movement in it keeping the cost down.

If you want to get into the more technical dive-watch, check out the Seastar 2000. Believe it or not, I don’t own this one… But, Brett does! He might have the same problem that I have. His is the sea-blue dial like the one pictured below. Tissot built a wave pattern into the dial to give it that proper ocean vibe.

Seastar 2000

This one is a mechanical watch, which means it doesn’t have a battery. Its power reserve is built up by the natural movement of your wrist during the day. You can also wind it to restore power to the mechanism or use a watch winder to keep it charged when not in use.

This watch is water-resistant to approximately 2,000 feet! I don’t even know if it’s possible to dive that far, but I won’t be looking to find out. Brett is a SCUBA diver, however, so he really loves the technical aspects of this watch. It even has a pressure release valve built into the case, and the power reserve is almost 80 hours.

If your guy is generally a more “clean lines” kind of look, then you should take a look at the Bering line of watches. They are a minimalist Danish design inspired by the Arctic.

Bering Watches

Ummm, yes, I have one of these too… Ok, so maybe I do have a problem (where’s my lost shaker of salt?). This one is made of Titanium with a brushed silver look. It’s a quartz movement so it runs on a battery, and the dial is easy to read.

Bering Titanium Watch

Bering has not only quartz watches, but also solar watches that recharge themselves in the sun so you never have to worry about battery changes.

I hope this gave you some inspiration on what to get your favorite guy. Stop on in the store to see it in person – we are all stocked up and ready for the holiday season!
