Special Event: Pancreatic Cancer Fundraiser and "Sip and Shop"

Special Event: Pancreatic Cancer Fundraiser and "Sip and Shop"

Okay, you might want to get out a pen and paper to take notes, because we have a lot to talk about. We are combining our annual wishlist night and our annual Pancreatic Cancer Awareness fundraiser into one night. That means we will have a ton of fun things going on, and a ton of prizes to give away too! Read on for all the details...

Pancreatic Cancer Awareness

As we have every year for the past seven years, we are raising money for a worthy fundraiser that is focused on battling cancer, or enriching the lives of those affected. This event was started, and continues to grow every year, in memoriam, to Kelly Glennon and Kim Cavanaugh's father, John Cavanaugh who lost his own battle with pancreatic cancer in 2010.

This year we are excited to announce that we will be raising money for our very own local organization, Amy’s Treat. Amy’s Treat was created in December 2007 as a legacy foundation in honor and loving memory of Amy Maliszewski to benefit the patients of the Seacoast Cancer Center of New Hampshire. Their mission is to provide solutions to the day-to-day difficulties of living with cancer by offering unexpected “treats” to renew the spirit.

To learn more about Amy's Treat, follow this link.

We are selling raffle tickets that can be purchased online right here, or can be purchased in store from now until November 16th at 6PM. Every penny raised goes straight to Amy’s Treat, so feel free to buy as many as you want! The raffle prize this year will be a gorgeous Michele Watch and stunning Bentelli earrings. Both are on theme in purple, of course.

We are so grateful to you, our tribe, for supporting this event every year. We have raised literally tens of thousands of dollars over the past seven years because of you. That money has all gone directly to amazing charities such as the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, and Amy’s Treat. We are hoping that you will continue to dig deep for this heartwarming event this year by entering for a chance to win this year's raffle prize! Did we mention you can purchase your raffle ticket online right here?

We have such a wonderful time every year that we thought, why not make it extra special by combining with another fun event? So this year we are combining our Pancreatic Cancer Awareness night with our all new "Sip and Shop" night. Traditionally this is a night where guests can join us for an evening of festivities while adding items to their wishlist, but this year we're adding even more fun with a raffle and even our favorite treats.

This event will be held at the store (388 Central Ave in Dover) on Thursday November 16th from 5-7PM.

Sip and Shop at Jewelry Creations

Combined with our Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Night we will be holding our all new "Sip and Shop". What better way to spend an evening than raising money for a good cause, and enjoying some lovely mocktails, cocktails, and sweet chocolates? (From our friends across the street at Lickee's & Chewy's of course)

Umm, diamonds, chocolates, champagne... Can it get any better? But wait, there's more!

We're pulling out all the stops for this event and are giving away a free jewelry cleaner to everyone that adds 2 or more items to their wishlist. We are also giving away a $100 Gift Card to one lucky winner selected at random from wishlist entries!

The drinks will of course be on theme with the pancreatic cancer awareness color — purple. For a non-alcoholic drink, we will have a "Sparkling Blueberry Ginger Mocktail", and for a cocktail we will have a "Purple Rain". For those that prefer we will have champagne, Woodford Bourbon, or an IPA available.

Then of course, we can't forget the sweetness! We will have an assortment of delicious Lickee's & Chewy's chocolates, as well as some fruits, and chocolate covered strawberries to boot.

We can not thank you enough for your unending support over the years, and we hope to create a fun evening for you to shop, "window shop", add items to your wishlist, or just spend time joining us to share in stories and raise money for Amy’s Treat. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday November 16th from 5-7PM!
