Dover, NH – Jewelry Creations recently held a one-day permanent jewelry fundraising event to support Dover Baseball’s 12U All Star team and raised twenty-three hundred dollars; money that will be used to help send the team to Branson, Missouri this summer to represent New Hampshire in the Cal Ripken World Series.
The event took place May 6th and Jewelry Creations donated all profits from the sale of permanent jewelry and twenty percent of all non-permanent jewelry purchases to the team.
Permanent jewelry is a growing trend in fashion jewelry where a jeweler custom-fits a solid gold or silver bracelet around your wrist and welds the two ends together. The actual “zap” takes all of a few seconds and is completely painless.
“Supporting the community is the cornerstone of our small business,” said Jewelry Creations owner Kelly Glennon. “This was such a fun event that brought the community together to support these great kids. It’s truly my favorite part of being a business owner,” she added.
Dover Baseball, Incorporated is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all regulated ways, the interest of those who will participate in Dover Baseball.
