We absolutely love Apple Harvest Day. The apples, pumpkins, crisp fall air, and the chance to visit with all of our friends. It is a time-honored tradition that we look forward to every year! This year’s AHD is Saturday, October 7.
For the uninitiated, Apple Harvest Day is put on by the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce. It is a day-long family event, featuring over 300 vendors, great food, live entertainment, and more. The event was first held in 1985 and now draws more than 60,000 people to downtown Dover, making it one of the most popular regional festivals.
At our Jewelry Creations booth, we have a lot of fun planned for this year’s festival. It’s going to be extra special because we are raising money for one of our favorite causes, “Amy’s Treat”. We are also introducing everyone to our newest jewelry designer, 12-year-old Lola, and we are even doing a BOGO 50% sale!

Buy a Scoop Fundraiser for Amy’s Treat
Have you ever wanted to go prospecting and dig for gemstones? Here’s your chance, and you don’t even have to dig through mud or scale mountains. We will have a nice, clean, sand pit where you can dig and sift to find semi-precious stones, precious stones, or possibly even a diamond!
The cost to dig will be $10 per scoop - and every single penny of that goes to Amy’s Treat. Amy’s Treat is a non-profit that provides solutions to the day-to-day difficulties of living with cancer and offers unexpected “treats” to renew the spirit.
Meet the Designer: Lola
Also at Apple Harvest Day is your chance to meet one of our newest designers - Lola. She is only 12 years old but has already started her own jewelry business - “Jewelry by Lola Rose”. Her jewelry line is hip, fun, and is perfectly suited to any kiddo looking to up their style game.

Clean and Check’s Galore
Apple Harvest is always a huge “Clean and Check” day. It’s so fun for us because we get to chat with our favorite customers, and you get your jewelry all sparkled up with a full inspection ensuring everything is tight and secure. It’s a win-win, and we look forward to it every year.
As you may know, there is never a charge for your clean and check, and it doesn’t matter if you bought the piece here or not. You also don’t even need to wait for Apple Harvest. If you happen to be around town just pop in any time we are open - it only takes about five minutes.
